Most software work treats a platform the same way it would treat a marketing site — ship fast, iterate later. For the systems that run a business, "later" is often a sync that stalls or a value that drifts without anyone noticing. Baroda Finovise was set up to do this work the other way round: understand the workflows and the edges first, then build.
We're based in Vadodara and work with clients across India, in person where it helps and remotely where it doesn't matter.
Three things guide most decisions we make on a project:
We keep engagements to a size where the person who scoped your project is the same person who can answer questions about it six months later. That's a deliberate trade-off — we take on fewer clients at a time so each one gets direct access to the people building their software.
Where that model doesn't fit a very large programme, it tends to come up during the scoping call rather than after the work has started.
